It is with much regret that we must inform you that EOM Shipping is going out of business. Many of you are aware of the global financial crisis which has crippled or caused the termination of business of a number world-wide financial giants. This crisis did not bypass the shipping industry, and the recent unexpected collapse of our contaier line and several other huge firms has caused a forceful chain reaction which we have been unable to escape. Up until this moment EOM Shipping has been able to maintain excellent financial standing, but the vast debts that several large freight-forwarders owe EOM and are now unable to settle have delivered EOM Shipping a critical blow from which we are unable to recover. Since the credit market is currently non-existent, there is no way for EOM to regain the funds it is owed nor a path to secure further credit in order to rebuild its finances and release containers from world-wide ports.

All containers and shipments that have been shipped through us or through our container line are intact, but they must be released from their respective ports by our customers.

On behalf of EOM Shipping I extend our apologies to all our customers who have been inconvenienced and/or financially hurt by recent turn of events. Please believe us Ð there was no way to predict or prevent this unfortunate affair.

We wish you all the best in your future, and if you've suffered any monetary loss - we hope we will be able to find a way to compensate you sometime in the future.
